Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Always allow your liquid casting material to cure completely before attempting demolding, as rushing extraction can ruin fine details. When releasing complex sculptures, work slowly from the base upward by gently stretching the flexible silicone outward rather than applying sharp pressure or excessive twisting. Never use knives, needles, or metal picks to help free the casting, as sharp tools will scratch and damage the mold's interior.
Food-grade liquids and confectionery pastes should only be used with models specifically certified as food-safe molds. Crafting options and material suitabilities vary depending on the individual design's shape, depth, and intended use. Be sure to check the individual product guidelines of your selected model before casting food, resin, wax, or plaster.
Gently wash your silicone forms with warm water and mild soap after every project to remove residual wax, resin, or plaster, avoiding abrasive scrub pads. Allow the forms to dry thoroughly, then lay them flat in their natural shape away from direct sunlight, open flames, and heat sources. Storing molds flat and clean prevents structural deformation and preserves fine surface details for repeated use.
