Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

While our collection supports a wide variety of mediums including wax, soap, plaster, concrete, and resin, compatibility can vary depending on the specific design you select. We highly recommend verifying the suitability of your chosen material against the individual product descriptions before starting your project. Some delicate or highly detailed models may perform better with specific casting compounds.
To protect both your finished piece and the mold, ease the casting out gradually and avoid overstretching thin or highly detailed sections. Never use sharp tools like knives, needles, or metal spatulas to assist with demolding, as these can easily puncture or slice the flexible silicone. Allowing rigid materials to set completely before carefully peeling the mold back will also help preserve the intricate reliefs.
After each casting session, wash the mold thoroughly with warm water and mild soap to remove any leftover wax, soap residue, or dust. Let the form air dry completely on a flat surface, and then store it in its natural shape in a cool, dry place. Keep your molds away from direct heat sources and out of direct sunlight to prevent any distortion or loss of elasticity over time.
