To protect slender sections like paws, tails, or ears, you should demold the finished castings gradually and gently. Avoid using sharp tools, metal picks, or knives to pry the casting out, as these can easily scratch or tear the flexible silicone.
While many designs in this collection work exceptionally well with wax, soap, plaster, concrete, and resin, individual molds may vary in suitability depending on the casting compound. We highly recommend checking the individual product description before choosing your material to ensure it matches your specific project.
After washing your molds with warm water and mild soap, allow them to dry completely before putting them away. Store your molds lying flat in their natural shape, keeping them away from direct sunlight, dust, open flames, and heating sources to prevent deformation.
