Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

While these flexible silicone molds open up broad possibilities, material compatibility can vary depending on the specific model you select. You can experiment with wax, gypsum, plaster, resin, soap, and fine cement compounds, but we highly recommend checking the individual product page specifications to ensure your chosen mold is suitable for your specific casting material.
To protect the intricate curves and soft lines of your finished castings, always handle the mold gently during extraction and avoid pulling the piece out forcefully. Never use sharp tools, needles, or metal picks near the silicone interior to assist with demolding, as these can permanently tear or scratch the mold.
After each casting session, wash the mold with warm water and mild, non-abrasive soap to remove any leftover wax, resin, or plaster residue. Once it is completely air-dried or dried with a soft microfiber cloth, store the mold in its natural shape on a flat surface away from direct sunlight, dust, high heat, and heavy objects.
