While many of our flexible silicone designs work seamlessly with various mediums, material compatibility can vary depending on the specific model. Selected molds are optimized for wax blends like soy and beeswax, while others are better suited for epoxy resin or plaster. We highly recommend checking the individual product specifications of your chosen design to confirm its compatible casting materials.
To protect the intricate details of your casting, always demold your finished pieces gently by working the outer edges back gradually. Avoid using sharp tools, metal picks, or abrasive pads inside the cavities, as these can scratch the inner surface and damage future casts. Stretching or pulling the mold too forcefully around fine features should be avoided to prevent tearing.
After each use, carefully wash the silicone molds with warm water and mild soap to remove any residual wax, soap, or resin dust. Allow them to dry completely, and then store them lying flat in their natural shape to prevent deformation. Keep your collection in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, dust, heating elements, and open flames.
