While many designs accommodate a broad range of mediums—including waxes, soap bases, epoxy resin, plaster, and clay—you should always check the individual product specifications to ensure it matches your intended material.
Demold your finished casting gradually by gently flexing the silicone away from the edges before releasing the center. Pay extra care when working around delicate protruding elements, fine leaf accents, or narrow anatomical features so you do not put stress on the casting or the mold cavity.
Gently wash the mold with warm water and mild soap after each use to remove residual wax, resin, or plaster residue without using sharp tools or abrasive brushes. Once dry, store the form flat in its natural, undistorted shape away from direct sunlight, heating elements, and dust.
The 2D relief molds feature flat backs, making them ideal for rapid production items like scented soap bars, decorative wall plaques, or wax melts. The 3D molds produce fully dimensional sculptural pieces, such as detailed animal figures or decorative busts, which work wonderfully as standalone display centerpieces.
