Casting material compatibility varies depending on the specific model's shape and level of detail. While many of our molds work well with natural waxes, soap bases, plaster, concrete, or epoxy resin, we recommend checking the individual product description before selecting your casting medium.
To protect both your finished piece and the flexible silicone, demold your creation gradually without forceful pulling, twisting, or overstretching delicate sections. Because care requirements can vary depending on the casting material you use, always follow the specific handling guidelines on the individual product page.
Gently wash away any remaining casting material using warm water and a mild dish soap. Never use knives, needles, metal picks, or other sharp tools on the silicone, as they can scratch or puncture the flexible surface.
Make sure your molds dry completely after washing, and store them flat in their natural position. Keep them in a cool area away from direct sunlight, open flames, heating elements, and other strong heat sources to maintain their form.
