To protect both your casting and the mold, you should demold your finished pieces slowly and gradually rather than pulling them out suddenly. Avoid using sharp metal tools, knives, or needles to help pry the casting out, as these can easily scratch or damage the flexible silicone interior.
While these silicone molds are highly versatile, material compatibility can vary depending on the specific model you choose. We highly recommend checking the individual product descriptions to confirm which casting mediums—such as soy wax, beeswax, plaster, concrete, soap, or epoxy resin—are recommended for that particular design.
After each use, gently wash the mold with warm water and mild soap to remove any leftover wax, soap, or plaster, and let it dry completely. Store your molds in their natural shape, either lying flat or upright without any heavy objects stacked on top, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
